Things To Do

Belledonne is a land of hiking by excellence, with still wild landscapes.

For a few days or weeks the most courageous, must dare thenoumerous trails and explore the wonderfull panoramas and life in the Alps.

FOR FANS OF HIGH ALTITUDE

The full crossing of the Belledonne massif is a technical and committed trail, alternating trails and high mountain that will allow you to hike with gorgeous panoramas. This alpine route combines difficulties: steep trails, altitude (15 passes at more than 2000 m), level difference, percentage of slope … but the reward is worth the effort with 30 lakes of altitude, 4 panoramic peaks and a “Mountain experience”guaranteed. A trail for savvy trailers at the foot of the mountains!

FOR RUNNERS IN SEARCH OF WILD PATHS AND LITTLE TRAVELED

This trail allows the discovery of the northern part of the masiff! A trail for trail-lovers who want to experience adventure, but chilly at the thought of spending a night outside.

FOR TRAILERS WISHING TO TRY THEIR HAND AT THE TECHNICAL TRAILS OF BELLEDONNE

This path  is much more accessible than the other two. There are no off-piste areas like on previous trails, but rather a monotracesroute. Nevertheless is technical, the progression is quite difficult but is done on foot! The strength of this course is to evolve on 4 main ridges at 2000m altitude and offers a unique panorama of the day on all the Alps and Mont Blanc.

AN INVITATION TO TRANSHUMANCE

The word “transhumance” comes from the Latin “trans” which means beyond and “humus” which evokes the land, the country. Used to describe the annual migration of herds and shepherds leaving their land in search of new pastures, transhumance has always invited humans to travel to new horizons. Here, you too, can transhume!During the summer season, follow the herds that go up in summer and let yourself be carried away past the passes, through the chain of Belledonne and its wonders.
